☢Lia Berg☢

Hey Name's Lia but you can call me Ayala. I'm a huge reader and I love words! I'm a writer, artist, animal lover! I am quite the geeky person! I collect comics, i cosplay/fursuit, and a lot more geeky stuff that I forget at this moment!

Monster Boy Angst!

This Savage Song (Monsters of Verity) - Victoria Schwab

I couldn't put this book down. This is one of the best books I've read in quite a while!

I really really enjoyed this read! Monster boy angst is my favorite type of prose. And the conflicting emotions about being human or monster is always fun!

The cast of characters are very well written and well thought out, August Flynn is a horrible monster, in other words he's just bad at his job. Which is pitiful in an endearing way. And Kate Harker is the type of person I'd like to be calculating, intelligent and won't let anyone get me down, even if i have to break their arm.

I'm definitely going to pick up more books from Victoria Schwab, and Pre-order the Second book in the series!

(Sorry this review is all over the place I'm running on six hours of sleep in the last 72 hours so i'm kind of not all there. And I'm unable to sleep due to mental issues)

Fangirl Mode Activati- OFF

Fangirl - Rainbow Rowell

A book about fanfiction writers like myself? Count me in (I said)

But as I continued to read, I became more and more disappointed with each page I read.

I really wanted to like this book, since it catered to me and my fandom(s) The writing was decent but the storyline was meh and I ultimately skipped over the Simon and Baz passages, they didn't add anything to the story for me.

I really wanted a book that represented fandoms and fanfiction in a better light. But I really don't feel like this book is a good representation of fandoms

I really wanted to like this story, I really did, but I couldn't do it.

What Savage Beast (The Incredible Hulk) - Peter David

THIS IS GOING IN A DIRECTION I WAS NOT EXPECTING. BUT HOT DAMN I LIKE IT!

Spider-man Spider-men

Spider-Men - Sara Pichelli, Brian Michael Bendis

This has to be one of my favorite spin-off series ever. I just LOVE this 5 part comic series. I can't recommend it enough.

Peter Parker finds Mysterio using a interdenominational portal to another dimension. And of course Peter gets sucked into the portal. When he is teleported fully to the other side of the portal, he finds out that it's still the same New York City he loves and protects. But as he goes around the city he finds out everyone knows that Peter Parker is Spider-man (and his costume is in bad taste) and not only that. But.... Peter Parker Died a few months back. He's confused and scared and goes swinging through the city trying to figure out what's going on. And It just gets weirder and weirder from there! PLEASE please please pick this comic up in graphic novel form or comic form! It's so superb and amazing!

Thanks for reading <3

Uprooted - Naomi Novik

"This is a great read so far. So much magic, excitement, and more! I can't wait to finish this!

What Savage Beast (The Incredible Hulk) - Peter David

Wow this is so good! I'm really enjoying Bruce and Betty's relationship in this novel. I'm wondering if any other of the fans in the hulk-dom has read this. Can't wait to see what'll happen next!

Hulk Gray- BRB SOBBING

Hulk: Gray - Jeph Loeb, Tim Sale

This comic just evokes so many emotions for me.I just, really, love this book. It literally one of the saddest comics I've read in a long. The art is really interesting in this book, with the little watercolor accents really makes this comic's art stand out. The writing is on point, and very very sad. I love that they made this comic mostly about my favorite hulk characters. Betty Ross and Bruce Banner. This scene below is when Hulk is trying to show kindness and accidentally kills his bunny friend. It's so heartbreaking. I just have no words how this hits home for me. Thanks for reading this mumble gumble of me raving about this book. Please Please Please  READ This book! It's amazing and just let's you see how Bruce Banner's world started out in chaos after the G-Bomb accident.

Reading progress update: I've read 283 out of 576 pages.

Pet Sematary - Stephen King

This is a really good book so far. But I'm still in search of a terrifying tale that will make me stay up all night in fright!

I really love this books so far and can't wait to see what happens next!

Blood of Elves-The Lion Cub of Cintra

Blood of Elves - Andrzej Sapkowski

This story has racism, political problems, adventure, magic, and more! I really enjoyed how Ciri progressed through this story. Geralt wasn't really the main character of this story, but Ciri was. That didn't bother me at all since Ciri is a complete bad-ass!I really enjoyed this huge adventure and enjoyed reading every second of it. But I did have trouble with all the lands and locations, it would of helped if they added a map to the book, but I guess I could've just looked it up! ^^; Well that's the end of this review I do recommend this book for anyone who loved Game Of Thrones any book like that! This whole book series even has a video game to go along with it! Go read and then Go play!

Reading progress update: I've read 62 out of 445 pages.

Fangirl - Rainbow Rowell

Cath is literally me. I've been writing fanfiction since I was 10. So I can totally relate to this story! I still write a bit of fanfiction to this day to be honest. ^^:

I'm really enjoying this read so far, and I have a feeling it's just going to get better from here!

Witching Hour

The Last Wish - Andrzej Sapkowski

This book was such a fantastic compilation of short stories about a monster hunter named Geralt of Rivia. I found the characters to be exceptionally colorful and the stories to be quite humorous even in times of grave danger! I can't wait to start Blood of Elves (Book 1 of the Series) I really enjoyed this read and recommend this read to anyone who is a huge fantasy fan. I give this 4 /2 stars!

The Animas Bond

Legacy of the Claw - C. R. Grey, Jim Madsen

This book was absolutely amazing, so many twists and turns and of course PLOT TWISTS! I was amazed at the end and it left me hanging, and now I have to wait for the next book to come out!! Ugh! I love the idea of people being connected to animals and having a magical bond with them. And I read Spirit animals as well, but I found this book to be exceptionally better. In terms of Writing, and Plot. But Besides the point! I really enjoyed the mix of action, fantasy, Political war, and more! I recommend it for everyone!

Tremlo's Fox animas, named Fennel is very elegant and intelligent but every time I read about Fennel I see this GIF in my head

The Last Wish - Andrzej Sapkowski

I'm was so infuriated when I found out the Witcher Video Game series was originally a fantasy book series I had to go find out for myself and I gotta say it's REALLY good so far. I'm patiently waiting for the new game to come out! Here's some footage of the Witcher III I'm so excited for it I cannot wait! The book series is really good so far and I can't wait to finish it!!!!!

Ruff Adventure!

The Last Dogs: The Vanishing - Christopher Holt, Greg Call, Jeff Sampson

I really really enjoyed this one. I just couldn't put it down once I started reading it!

This is about Max the Labrador who is on the quest to find his missing humans. But as he comes to find out, ALL the humans have vanished off the face of the earth!

He meets quite a few interesting animals on the way to find his humans, like the evil wolves that want all of Max's Kibble, the friendly cats of the boulevard and the Chihuahua who think's he's a cat. and the Rat King Longtooth!

He also finds new friends who also want to find their humans. Such as Rocky the Dachshund and Gizmo the Yorkie! They join Max on this crazy adventure!

This story is jam packed action and twists and turns! I loved this one and can't wait to read the next book in the series!!! Arooo!

And I couldn't post this review without and Adorable dachshund gif! Dachshund's are my favorite dogs and I can't wait to read more about Rocky the Sassy Dachshund!

DUN DUN DUN DUN

Hulk Smash!

Phase One: The Incredible Hulk (Marvel Cinematic Universe) - Alex Irvine

All i have to say is!

I love the Hulk! And I couldn't believe a kids book came out of him in preparation for age of ultron! So of course I had to pick it up and read it. It's a toned down duplicate of the 2008 Hulk movie with Edward Norton.

This has the exact same lines as the movies but it's dumbed down to more appropriate language for younger audiences.

One of my favorite substitute lines has to be when Emil Blonsky says "You'll have a bunch of professional tough guys running for their Mama's" But in the movie he says "pissing in their pants" I think it's hilarious!

Anyway I hate Stories that are just about the hulk and nothing but hulk! What about the man behind the monster? Bruce Banner! This story has  good balance between monster and man and I really appreciate that they did the 2008 film instead of the 2003 film!

The writing was so-so, and they couldn't include all the good stuff, because of those darn kids!!!!!

If you're searching for a more adult book of the same movie recommend Peter David's Incredible Hulk novel!!!

Anyway I give this book  Three and a half stars!

You guys have no idea how excited I am to read this!

When I heard it was delivered to my house I was like

I'm so exited to read this guys you don't understand how much of a hulk geek I am! I've been collecting Incredible Hulk comics for about 3 years! And I've been loving every moment of it! I'm almost finished with the 1968 Series and I need the 1962 series but they're about $23,000.... And nobody has money for that!!!!!!

Anyway thanks for reading guys!
